These are small bird pics I am displaying at the Colours of the Kingdom festival in St Johnsbury, Vermont on Saturday, Sept. 21. I will be doing a demo of painting at the festival - finishing the two unfinished pieces above. You can see my method - sketch, paint a generic background, and then finish the bird. BTW, they are Wood Thrush(Vermont State Bird), Northern Flicker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Indigo Bunting, Palm Warbler and Eastern Bluebird.
All were SOLD by Joe's Pond Craft Shop except the Ruby-crowned Kinglet which sold at the festival.
